Pray for my friend who thinks that his life goes by and he ends up wasting it. He says he is just terrible now and he wants to die.

Lord God our merciful Creator, I pray in agreement with Shawn and ask for you to stretch out your hand to this troubled soul. If he is lost then send one to tell him of the glorious love of Christ that he might find peace and solace in the arms of the Lamb. If he is one of your children Lord God then touch his heart and mind. There is no glory to God in one of Your own to despair enough to think of death as a solution. Bind the evil one from his mind and his heart, let him not sow seeds of despair and destruction in this dear one. Bind him and cast him out and fill the void with hope and joy and peace abounding. Lord we stand in the gap for him, confident that our God is a God of saving grace, and that you will not suffer him to be lost to lies. In Jesus Name, Amen
