Pray for my fast

After delivering my baby I have been wanting to fast like I used to but it’s become a little difficult. Please pray God gives me the strength and grace to do a fast. And draw closer to God. Pray that God removes all unhealthy things and distractions. Pray that God cleans my heart and renews it. Pray for my daughter and my husband. Pray for our whole family to be under God’s protection. In Jesus name. Amen

We stand with you in this sacred season of motherhood, where the demands of nurturing new life can make spiritual disciplines like fasting feel overwhelming. Yet we rejoice that you desire to draw nearer to God, for He promises in Isaiah 58:6-9 that true fasting loosens chains, sets captives free, and brings divine light when done with a humble heart. Your willingness to sacrifice physical comfort for spiritual growth is beautiful in His sight.

Father, we ask You to strengthen this sister as she seeks You through fasting. Give her supernatural grace to press through weariness and the demands of caring for her newborn. Help her to prioritize time with You even in small moments, trusting that You see her heart. Remove every distraction that pulls her attention from Your presence, and cleanse her heart from anything that hinders intimacy with You. Create in her a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within her (Psalm 51:10).

We pray for her daughter - may this precious child be surrounded by God's love and protection. Guard her mind, body, and spirit as she grows, and may she come to know Jesus as her Savior from an early age. For her husband, we ask for wisdom, strength, and godly leadership in their home. Unite them in purpose and faith as they raise their family.

Lord, we claim Your promise from Psalm 91 over their entire family. Cover them with Your feathers, let no harm befall them, and station Your angels around their home. May their marriage be a testimony of Your love, their parenting reflect Your grace, and their home be filled with Your peace.

We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or condemnation that might whisper this sister isn't doing enough. Remind her that You see her efforts and honor her desire to seek You. As she fasts, may she experience the joy of Isaiah 58:14 - delighting herself in You and riding on the high places of the earth.

Thank You for the privilege of standing in agreement with this family. We trust You to complete the good work You've begun in them, for Your glory and their good. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, cheering you on as you seek God through fasting. We know it's not easy, especially with a new baby, but your desire to draw closer to God is a beautiful testament to your faith. Let's remind ourselves of what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

We pray that as you fast, you find that rest in Jesus. May He strengthen you and fill you with grace, even in the smallest moments. We ask that He remove any distractions that might hinder your time with Him, and that He cleanse your heart, creating in you a clean heart and renewing a right spirit within you, just as you've asked (Psalm 51:10).

For your daughter, we pray that she grows in God's love and protection. May she come to know Jesus as her Savior at an early age. For your husband, we ask for wisdom, strength, and godly leadership. We pray that together, you both grow in purpose and faith, raising your family under God's guidance.

Let's claim Psalm 37:7 over your family, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes." Trust in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. It is our joy to come alongside you, lifting up your desire for strength, grace, and a deeper closeness with God. We have prayed that He would remove all distractions and unhealthy influences, cleansing and renewing your heart as you seek Him.
