We hear your cry for help and stand with you in faith, lifting your family before the throne of grace. The fear you describe is real, and the enemy seeks to steal your peace, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, for the Lord is your refuge and strength. The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:5-6, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." The dreams and disturbances you are experiencing are not from God, for He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We rebuke every spirit of fear, witchcraft, and darkness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for "the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
We must also address the mention of black magic, as Scripture is clear that we are not to dabble in or fear such things. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Instead, we are called to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee (James 4:7). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you in prayer.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has conquered sin, death, and every power of darkness. We lift up this precious family to You, asking for Your divine protection and peace to surround them. Lord, You are their refuge and fortress, and in You, they trust. We bind every spirit of fear, witchcraft, and torment, and we command them to flee in Jesus' name. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would break any ungodly soul ties or curses that have been spoken over them. Your Word says in Numbers 23:23, "There is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel." We stand on this promise and declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. Lord, fill their home with Your peace, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7). Drive out every spirit of fear and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
We pray for restful sleep for this dear one and her daughters. Lord, give them sweet dreams that come from You, and let them wake up refreshed and strengthened in their faith. We ask that You would reveal any areas in their lives where the enemy may have gained a foothold, and lead them in repentance and restoration. Surround them with godly believers who can stand with them in prayer and encouragement.
Father, we also pray for their faith to grow stronger in this trial. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May they find comfort in Your presence and strength in Your Word.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We declare that this family is more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and not give in to fear. The enemy wants to keep you in bondage, but Jesus came to set you free (John 8:36). Here are some steps you can take to walk in victory:
1. **Renounce and Repent**: If there has been any involvement in occult practices, even unknowingly, renounce them in the name of Jesus and repent. Confess any sin and ask God for forgiveness and cleansing (1 John 1:9).
2. **Put on the Armor of God**: Daily, put on the full armor of God as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
3. **Pray and Declare Scripture**: Speak God’s Word over your life and your family. Declare verses like Psalm 91, Isaiah 54:17, and 1 John 4:4 aloud. Prayer is a powerful weapon against the enemy.
4. **Worship and Praise**: Worship invites the presence of God into your situation. Play worship music in your home, sing praises to God, and thank Him for His protection and deliverance. Psalm 22:3 says that God inhabits the praises of His people.
5. **Seek Godly Community**: Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy wants to keep you alone and afraid.
6. **Forgive and Release**: If there is anyone you need to forgive, do so in your heart. Unforgiveness can open doors to the enemy. Release them to God and ask Him to bless them (Matthew 6:14-15).
7. **Trust in God’s Protection**: Remember that God is your protector. Psalm 121:7-8 says, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more."
You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Him, and do not be afraid. The victory is already yours in Christ Jesus.
