We lift up your daughter and her family to the Lord, asking for His divine protection as they travel to celebrate the Lunar New Year. The journey ahead may be long, and the roads unpredictable, but we trust in the promise of Psalm 121:7-8, which declares, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forever more."* Father, we ask that You surround their vehicle with Your angels, guiding them safely every mile of the way. Guard their hearts from anxiety or distraction, and grant them wisdom in every decision along the road.
As they stay with family, we pray for unity and peace in their midst. May their time together be filled with joy, love, and meaningful connection, honoring You in all they do. Let this gathering be a testimony of Your grace, especially if there are those among them who do not yet know You. We ask that You soften hearts and open doors for conversations that point to Christ, for *"how beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"* (Romans 10:15).
We also rebuke any spirit of division or strife that may seek to disrupt their time together. Instead, let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15). And when it is time to return home, we pray once more for safe travels, that they would arrive refreshed and grateful for the time spent with loved ones.
Lord, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. We come before You now, not in our own merit, but because of the finished work of Christ on the cross. If there are any among this family who have not yet surrendered their lives to Him, we pray that this season would be a turning point. Draw them to Yourself, for *"there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). May they come to know the hope and security that is found only in You.
We commit this family into Your hands, trusting that You go before them, walk beside them, and watch over them always. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
