I would like to submit a prayer request for my boyfriend Dave. He is a good person who had a rough upbringing (he was adopted and then abused by his adoptive family). He has a lot of trouble trusting people, and unfortunately, he often chooses to hang onto anger and bitterness, as well as anxiety and depression, especially during the holidays. Also recently he found out his cousin has cancer and his uncle has leukemia, and he has been totally consumed by stress. He has been shutting me out lately and hiding out in his apartment. I want to stay strong for both of us, and I am trying to be patient with him, but I don't know what else to do. Please pray that he will release these negative emotions and open his heart to love and kindness.
