Heavenly Father,
We lift up this precious eight-year-old girl to You, Lord. We thank You that she has been baptized and brought up in a godly environment. Lord, we come against any influence of the enemy in her life and pray that You would surround her with Your holy angels, protecting her from any evil spirits that may try to lead her astray. Father you have told us that whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Lord this man has caused this child to sin. We pray that repentance fills him and that you forgive him.
Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness on her behalf for what she has done, knowing that you wish to bless her. We pray that You would instill in her a deep sense of conviction and remorse, leading her to true repentance. Help her to understand that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and that she should honor God with her body. Let her know that it is her reasonable service. As it is written,
I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. WEB
Father, we ask that You would guide her parents in how to address this situation with wisdom, love, and understanding. Help them to create an open and safe environment where she feels comfortable discussing her feelings and asking questions.
