We come before the Lord with this request, seeking His divine intervention in this situation. Father, we lift up this matter concerning the tenant, Michael Shumboire, and ask for Your wisdom, grace, and mercy to prevail. We know that You are a God of order, peace, and justice, and we trust in Your perfect will to be done in this circumstance.
First, we must address the heart behind this prayer. While we understand the frustration and desire for resolution, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31). We pray that any bitterness, anger, or resentment be replaced with a spirit of forgiveness and grace, even as we seek a just outcome. Lord, help us to remember that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19), and we must trust You to handle this situation according to Your righteousness.
We pray for Michael Shumboire, that You would soften his heart and lead him to make decisions that align with Your will. If it is Your plan for him to move out of National City, CA, we ask that You open the doors for him to do so in a way that is peaceful and orderly. Provide him with the resources, opportunities, and clarity he needs to transition smoothly. If there are underlying issues causing him to act in a troublesome manner, we pray that You would reveal them to him and bring healing and transformation through Your Holy Spirit.
We also lift up the roommates and landlord involved in this situation. Father, grant them patience, wisdom, and discernment as they navigate this challenge. Protect their hearts from frustration and give them the strength to respond in a way that honors You. If there are legal or practical steps they need to take, we ask that You guide them and provide favor in their actions.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of discord, strife, or confusion that may be at work in this situation. We declare peace over this household and ask that Your presence would fill every room, bringing unity and resolution. We pray that Michael would come to know You personally, if he does not already, and that Your love would transform his life. For it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His blood that we are saved (Acts 4:12, John 14:6).
We trust in Your timing, Lord, and ask that You move miraculously in January 2026, if that is Your will. May this situation be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name and draws all involved closer to You. We surrender this request into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
