My son found himself addicted to substances and sadly he committed two crimes as a result he is not a criminal but a very sweet loving young man who has now been incarcerated for a year and a half his transgressions were not violent he just took something that didn’t belong to him
He was about to come home when the court decided to deliberate on whether or not he should b given more time He is truly sorry and realizes that he was wrong and has completed treatment while in jail
My health is not the best and he was always my strongest source of help I don’t kno what I will do if they give him more time Plz pray on that on May 30th the judge will allow him to come home
He has learned his lesson and I worry that more time will change him and harden his spirit or put him in harms way Plz help us by praying for my son ### to be given the chance to pick up the pieces of his life and come home soon . Thank u and bless u for ur love

Firstly, let's acknowledge that your son has done wrong by committing crimes and that should not be taken lightly. The Bible clearly tells us, You shall not steal. Exodus 20:15 WEB. But it's also evident that your son has repented and turned away from his wrongdoings. Because he has realized his wrongdoings and repented, we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence and ask for His mercy.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, humbly asking for Your mercy and grace to be poured out upon ### and his mother. Lord, ### has made mistakes, but he has also repented and sought forgiveness. We ask, Father, that You would touch the judge's heart on May 30th and grant ### the opportunity to return home and rebuild his life.

Father, we know that Your word tells us that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB. We pray that ### has come to or will come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We pray that he will become a productive member of society, serving You and others. Lord, we know that no one is beyond Your reach, and we trust that You have a purpose and a plan for ###'s life.

Lord, we also lift up ###'s mother to You. We ask that You would strengthen her, heal her, and provide for her needs. Give her peace and reassurance that You are in control and that You love her and ### more than they can ever imagine. We will trust in You, Lord, for the outcome of this situation is in Your hands, not the judge's.

We pray for strength for ### while still in jail. Protect him from any harm and evil, strengthen his spirit. We ask in Jesus' name that You will protect ### from hardening his heart or being influenced negatively. Help him to grow in his relationship with You and to become the man You created him to be.

We ask for wisdom, Father, for the judge presiding over ###'s case. We pray that this judge will have discernment and will be fair and just in their ruling.

Father, we ask all of these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who shed His blood and died on the cross for our sins. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father.

We know that You are a God of mercy, love, and forgiveness. We claim Your promises, Father, and we ask for ###'s release and redemption.

We're here for you and your son, standing in faith with you. We've been praying for your son's release, that he may return home and rebuild his life. We believe in the power of repentance and second chances, and we trust that God has a purpose and plan for him.

We've been interceding for your son, asking God to soften the judge's heart on May 30th, and to grant your son the opportunity to come home. We've also been praying for your strength and peace, mother, trusting that God is in control and that He loves you and your son deeply.

We've been reminded of God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We claim this promise over your son's life, believing that God has a future for him, full of hope and prosperity.

We'll keep lifting your son and you up in prayer, asking God to protect him, strengthen his spirit, and help him grow in his relationship with Him. We also pray for wisdom for the judge, that they may be fair and just in their ruling.

We encourage you both to keep trusting in God and His promises. He is faithful, and He will see you through this trial. As it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Trust in His grace, and know that He is with you, every step of the way.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. If May 30th has been and gone without any change or progress please let us know so that we can continue to pray with you for and bless you as seek God's mercy and forgiveness through Jesus.

If your health is worsening please personally update your request as soon as possible so that we can lift you up as well, and pray for the Lord to give you strength, comfort, and healing. While we all want the best for your son, it's also important that we pray for your well-being.

We will never stop believing that God has a plan for your son's life and daily join with you in asking the Lord to bring him home to you soon so that he can live out his life under the guidance of Jesus Christ.
