Dear Heavenly Father I have a meeting at Jordan's school today. I am not sure what will happen..Jordan will be at the meeting..Lord, I pray that I find the exact words to say to all these teachers today..Jordan hasn't been doing his best at school, and he even tried to withdraw on Oct 2nd,(I refused)but through you Lord, I know he can do it. Dear Lord show these teachers to have some compassion towards Jordan, rather than frustration. Lead them to want to help him to do what he takes for him to succeed, rather than "ENFORCE their Authority"..Students expect respect too, and when they get 18 and are a Junior in High School, in special ed,(ADD)that in itself, is all he needs and really wants. He just wants to be recognized in a positive way..I have respect for his teachers, and I have taught him to have the upmost respect for his teachers, as well..On the same side of that, to do unto others as you would have them do onto you..I know it is a very tough job on his teachers these days and I applaud all special ed teachers. The school was NOT following his IEP(Individual Education Plan)last year, and I went up to bat for him like a momma bear for her cub, as God does for us, and never let up and he did pass..He did have to go to summer school due to what the school did, and I requested the school waive the cost of this, and they did, the outcome was he passed..So, it hasn't been the best experience for Jordan. Please Lord I have been trying to get him into something MUSICAL at school, since in Middle and High School. It would be a great motivator for Jordan. Dear Lord, you know, I have mentioned this so many times, please let there be something at school he can shine with his talents of playing his electric guitar, to get into next semester..Open this door for Jordan to motivate him to want to be more successful at school!!!.Do unto others as you have them done unto you. Guide me Dear Lord and guide Jordan to be honest and remove any anger he may have at this meeting, and replace it with a positive solution for him..Let Jordan be the lead today to speak respectfully and clearly today to his teachers in this meeting. I want Jordan to know I am at the meeting for support, rather to point fingers..To find a solution and motivation, and for him to know I trust his decision, even if I don't, out of respect for him. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen
