We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you and your family up in fervent prayer. The weight of financial burden and the harassment you are enduring is not something the Lord intends for His children. We stand with you, declaring that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your distress and hears your cries, and we trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.
First, we must address the harassment you are facing. Scripture is clear that we are not to be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). The threats and intimidation from these loan app people are not of God. We rebuke the spirit of fear and oppression in the name of Jesus. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would be filled with His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up your husband’s situation regarding his retirement. The Lord is our provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8). We pray that the process of receiving his dues would be swift and without hindrance. May the Lord open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon you so that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). We declare that you will not only clear your debts but also have enough to save and secure your future.
Father, we ask that You would protect the reputation and image of this dear sister in her office, family, and society. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, and let every tongue that rises against her in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would restore her dignity and grant her favor in the eyes of those around her. May she walk in the confidence of who she is in Christ, knowing that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Let her life be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness, drawing others to You.
We also encourage you to seek wise counsel in managing your finances. Proverbs 22:7 warns that the borrower is servant to the lender, and we must strive to live within our means, trusting God to provide. If there are steps you can take to negotiate with your creditors or seek legal advice, we encourage you to do so with wisdom and discernment. The Lord will guide your steps as you seek Him (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the hope we have in Jesus Christ. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed (Ephesians 1:7). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him, trusting in His sacrifice for your salvation. For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16). In Him, you will find the strength to endure and the peace that transcends all understanding.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious family to You. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, delivering them from financial bondage and restoring their peace. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Shield them from the harassment and threats they are facing, and let Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). Grant them wisdom in managing their finances and favor in receiving the dues owed to them. Restore their reputation and let their lives be a testimony of Your goodness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
