We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting your heart’s desires to the Lord who hears and answers prayer. What a beautiful thing it is to seek spiritual growth and a deeper walk with God! We rejoice with you in this pursuit of excellence and supernatural acceleration, for the Scriptures tell us, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). This is the kind of soaring you are asking for, and we believe God delights in your hunger for Him.
We pray that your spiritual strength and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit would indeed increase daily, that you would be rooted and built up in Christ, strengthened in the faith as you have been taught, and abounding in thanksgiving (Colossians 2:7). May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the knowledge of God be multiplied to you, as Peter wrote: *"Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue"* (2 Peter 1:2-3 WEB). Let this be your portion this year—grace upon grace, knowledge upon knowledge, as you press into Him.
We also lift up your desire for excellence to become your trademark. The Word of God calls us to do everything as unto the Lord, not to men (Colossians 3:23). May your life reflect the excellence of Christ in all you do—your work, your relationships, your service, and your worship. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16). Excellence is not about outshining others but about reflecting the glory of God in all things.
Regarding the release of delayed blessings and supernatural acceleration, we declare with faith that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We pray that every delay be broken, every barrier removed, and that you would walk in the fullness of God’s promises for your life. However, we must also remember that God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). While we pray for acceleration, we also trust in His sovereign plan, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).
We do want to gently address the language of "breaking new records" and "surpassing human expectations." While ambition and striving for greatness are not inherently wrong, we must ensure that our hearts are aligned with God’s will and not our own pride or worldly standards. Jesus warned us, *"For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life?"* (Mark 8:36 WEB). Let your achievements bring glory to God and not to self. Let your motivation be love for Him and a desire to serve His kingdom, not to outshine others or seek the praise of men. The apostle Paul wrote, *"But let each man examine his own work, and then he will have reason to boast in himself, and not in someone else"* (Galatians 6:4 WEB). True excellence is found in humility and obedience to God.
We also want to encourage you to remain grounded in the Word and in prayer. Spiritual growth does not come from merely asking for blessings or acceleration but from abiding in Christ. Jesus said, *"I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing"* (John 15:5 WEB). Let your time in the Word, in worship, and in fellowship with other believers be the foundation of your spiritual life. As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to soar in the spirit this year. Lord, we ask that You would renew their strength daily, that they would mount up with wings like eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting. Increase their sensitivity to Your Holy Spirit, that they may hear Your voice clearly and follow Your leading without hesitation.
Father, we pray for an explosion of grace and knowledge in their life. Let Your Word dwell in them richly, teaching and admonishing them in all wisdom. May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory both now and forever. Amen (2 Peter 3:18).
Lord, let excellence become their trademark, not for their own glory, but for Yours. May everything they do be done as unto You, with integrity, diligence, and a heart of service. Let their light shine brightly, drawing others to You.
We declare that every delay is broken in Jesus’ name. Let Your blessings flow rapidly, and let supernatural acceleration be their portion. But Father, we also ask that You align their heart with Yours, that they would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). Let their achievements bring glory to Your name and not their own.
Guard their heart against pride, Lord, and keep them humble before You. May they always remember that apart from You, they can do nothing. Let their boasting be in You alone, for You are their strength, their shield, and their exceeding great reward.
We thank You, Father, for the work You are doing in their life. We trust You to complete it, for You who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
