We hear your heartfelt request and join you in seeking God’s will for your life, especially as you desire a godly marriage. The longing for a spouse who loves and honors the Lord is a beautiful and biblical desire. Scripture tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). Yet we must remember that God’s timing and His ways are perfect, even when they differ from our own.
First, we want to encourage you to seek the Lord above all else. *"Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). As you draw near to Him, He will shape your desires to align with His perfect plan. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is worth waiting for a woman who shares your faith, values, and commitment to Christ. Do not settle for anything less than God’s best for you.
We also lift up the practical aspects of your request. Praying for opportunities to meet a godly woman is good, but we must also ask the Lord to prepare your heart and hers. *"The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps"* (Proverbs 16:9). Trust that God will open doors in His timing, whether through church, godly friendships, or other avenues where you can meet someone who loves the Lord.
However, we must also address the language of possession in your request—*"until I am hers and she is mine."* Marriage is not about ownership but about mutual submission, love, and sacrifice. *"Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for her"* (Ephesians 5:25). A godly marriage is built on Christ-centered love, not on demanding or clinging to another person. We encourage you to surrender your desires fully to the Lord, trusting that He will provide in His way and His time.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with this brother’s request, lifting him up in the name of Jesus. Lord, You know the desires of his heart, and we ask that You would shape them to align with Your will. Prepare him to be the godly husband You have called him to be, rooted in Your Word and walking in Your ways. Father, we pray for the woman You have prepared for him, that she would be growing in her faith and seeking You above all else. Bring them together in Your perfect timing, Lord, and let their relationship be a testimony to Your goodness and grace.
We ask that You would open practical doors for them to meet, whether through fellowship, service, or godly community. Guard their hearts from impatience, doubt, or settling for anything less than Your best. Help them both to trust in Your plan, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this brother as he navigates this season. May he seek You first, delighting in Your presence and trusting You to provide. Let his life be a reflection of Your love, so that when the time comes, his marriage will glorify You.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness, desperation, or fear that may try to take hold of his heart. Instead, fill him with Your peace, joy, and confidence in Your promises. We declare that Your plans for him are good, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

Continue to seek the Lord in this season, brother. Trust that He is at work even when you cannot see it. *"Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!"* (Psalm 27:14). Walk in faith, serve the Lord wholeheartedly, and let Him guide your steps. When the time is right, He will bring the godly woman He has prepared for you. Until then, rest in His love and provision.
