We hear your heart’s longing, and we lift this desire before the Lord with great compassion. Your request is rooted in a godly aspiration—to find a wife who loves the Lord and will walk with you in covenant marriage as He designed. We rejoice that you seek His will in this, for the Bible tells us, *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). Marriage is a sacred gift, and we pray that God would prepare your heart and hers for the beautiful union He has in store.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who makes all things possible. Lord, You know the desires of this man’s heart, and we ask that You would align them with Your perfect will. We pray that You would bring the woman You have chosen for him—a woman of faith, virtue, and godly character, as described in Proverbs 31. May she be a woman who fears You, loves Your Word, and is committed to honoring You in all things. Prepare her heart to receive him, just as You are preparing his heart to receive her.
We ask for practical opportunities for them to meet in ways that honor You. Open doors in their daily lives—through church, godly friendships, or even unexpected encounters—where they can get to know one another in purity and wisdom. Remove any distractions or hindrances that would keep them from recognizing Your hand at work. We also pray for protection over his heart and hers. Guard them from impatience, discouragement, or the temptation to settle for anything less than Your best. May they both wait on You with trust, knowing that Your timing is perfect. *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). We declare that this man’s delight is in You, Lord, and we trust that You will fulfill the desires You have placed within him.
We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or doubt that would whisper lies about his worth or Your faithfulness. You are the God who sees, who cares, and who delights in blessing Your children.
