The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 18:22, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* Marriage is indeed a precious gift from God, and we pray that He prepares you and the woman He has chosen for you, shaping both of your hearts to reflect Christ’s love and holiness. Remember, the Lord calls us to seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will provide all we need (Matthew 6:33). A godly marriage is built on a foundation of faith, and we pray that both of you will be deeply rooted in Christ, walking in obedience to His Word.
We also encourage you to be intentional in your own preparation for marriage. Are you actively growing in your relationship with the Lord? Are you serving in your local church, seeking accountability, and cultivating the fruits of the Spirit—love, patience, kindness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)? A strong marriage begins with two individuals who are individually surrendered to Christ. First Corinthians 7:39 reminds us that a believer is to marry *"only in the Lord,"* so we pray that the woman God has for you will be a sister in Christ, equally yoked in faith and purpose.
We rebuke any spirit of impatience, loneliness, or compromise that may tempt you to settle for less than God’s best. The enemy would love to distract you with counterfeit relationships or ungodly connections, but we declare that your heart and mind are guarded by the peace of God (Philippians 4:7). Wait on the Lord with expectation, knowing that His timing is perfect. Psalm 37:4-5 says, *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."*
We also pray for practical open doors—divine appointments where you can meet a godly woman in a setting that honors the Lord. Whether through church, ministry, or godly community, we ask the Lord to orchestrate these moments so that your paths cross in His perfect timing.
