We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, for we know that it is His perfect will to bring godly spouses together in marriage for His glory. It is beautiful that you seek a wife who is ordained by God, for marriage is a sacred covenant designed by Him to reflect Christ’s love for His Church. As you wait upon the Lord, we encourage you to remain steadfast in faith, trusting that He will provide in His perfect timing, for His ways are higher than ours.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 18:22, *"Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh."* And in Proverbs 19:14, we read, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."* Your desire for a godly marriage is pleasing to the Lord, and we pray that He prepares both you and the woman He has chosen for you, that your union may be rooted in Christ and built upon His Word.
Yet, we must also remind you that while you wait, it is essential to cultivate a heart that seeks God above all else. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus should remain on growing in holiness, serving the Lord, and becoming the man He has called you to be—a man of integrity, faith, and love. A godly wife will be drawn to a man who loves Jesus with all his heart and walks in obedience to His Word.
We also encourage you to be intentional in your search, not leaving it solely to chance or passivity. While we trust in God’s sovereignty, we must also act in faith. Are you actively involved in a Bible-believing church where you can meet like-minded believers? Are you serving in ministry, using your gifts to glorify God? These are practical ways the Lord often brings godly spouses together. Remember, faith without works is dead (James 2:17), and the Lord often moves as we step out in obedience.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who longs for a godly wife. Lord, You know his heart’s desire, and we ask that You prepare him and the woman You have chosen for him. Give him patience as he waits, and let his trust in You grow stronger each day. Remove any anxiety or fear from his heart and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Father, we pray that You would orchestrate divine appointments—opportunities for him to meet a woman of faith, virtue, and godly character. Let her be a woman who fears You, who loves Your Word, and who seeks to honor You in all she does. May she be a helper suitable for him, as You designed in the beginning (Genesis 2:18). Let their meeting be marked by Your hand, and may their courtship be pure, honorable, and centered on Christ.
We rebuke any spirit of impatience, loneliness, or compromise that may tempt him to settle for less than Your best. Guard his heart and mind, Lord, and let him remain steadfast in Your will. If there are areas in his life that need refinement—whether in his walk with You, his character, or his priorities—reveal them to him by Your Spirit and give him the grace to change.
We also pray for miracles in his life, Father. Open doors that no man can shut, and let Your favor rest upon him. Provide practical ways for them to grow in friendship and godly affection as they seek Your will for marriage. Let their love be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may their future home be a place where Your name is honored.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would prepare this woman’s heart to recognize him as the man You have for her. Let her be drawn to his faith, his kindness, and his commitment to You. May she be a woman who will not give up on him but will stand by his side as a true helpmate, just as You intended.

Brother, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. Surround yourself with godly counsel and accountability, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). Trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it, and remain faithful to Him in all things. He who began a good work in you will complete it (Philippians 1:6), and that includes bringing you the wife He has prepared for you.
