We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, rejoicing that you have sought Him first in this matter, for His Word declares, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). It is beautiful to see your heart’s longing for a godly marriage, a covenant designed by God Himself to reflect Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33). We pray that your desire is not merely for companionship but for a union that glorifies God, rooted in faith, purity, and mutual submission to His will.
Your request for a woman who will not give up on you is a reminder of God’s own faithfulness to us—*"The one who calls you is faithful, who will also do it"* (1 Thessalonians 5:24, WEB). Yet we must also remember that marriage is not the ultimate fulfillment of our longing; that is found in Christ alone. As you wait, we encourage you to cultivate a heart that seeks Him above all else, trusting that His timing is perfect. *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14, WEB).
We also pray that you prepare yourself to be the husband God calls you to be—a man of integrity, love, and spiritual leadership (1 Timothy 3:2-5, Ephesians 5:23). Pursue holiness, for *"without holiness no one will see the Lord"* (Hebrews 12:14, WEB), and let your life reflect the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). A godly wife will be drawn to a man who walks closely with the Lord.
Be intentional in Christian communities where you can meet like-minded believers. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Seek a woman who loves Jesus above all, who is grounded in Scripture, and who shares your vision for a Christ-centered home. Avoid the temptation to rush or compromise on biblical standards, for *"the one who marries the daughter of a foreign god shall be cut off from Yahweh’s assembly"* (Deuteronomy 7:3-4, WEB, paraphrased for principle). This applies not just to unbelievers but to those who do not share your commitment to Christ.
We rebuke any fear, loneliness, or impatience that may tempt you to settle for less than God’s best. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). Trust that He is working even now, preparing both you and the woman He has for you. *"Yahweh your God is among you, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you with joy. He will calm you in his love. He will rejoice over you with singing"* (Zephaniah 3:17, WEB).

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before You, thanking You for his heart’s desire to honor You in marriage. Lord, You know his deepest longings, and we ask that You prepare him and the woman You have for him—a woman of faith, virtue, and devotion to You. Grant them both patience to wait on Your perfect timing and wisdom to recognize Your leading.
Father, open doors for godly connections, whether through church, service, or divine appointments. Let their meeting be marked by Your hand, and let their courtship be pure, intentional, and centered on You. Protect them from distractions, ungodly influences, or the enemy’s attempts to derail Your plan. Bind any spirit of fear, doubt, or impatience, and fill them both with Your peace that surpasses understanding.
We pray for miracles in his life—miracles of provision, healing, and divine alignment. Let his life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and let his future marriage bring You glory. Strengthen him to be a man after Your own heart, Lord, one who leads with love, humility, and strength.
May they both seek You first, knowing that *"in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:6, WEB). And when the time is right, let their union be a beacon of Your love and grace to a world in need of hope.
