We are glad to join you in prayer and we appreciate that you have asked for prayer in Jesus' name. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus that humans can be saved.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in prayer. We ask that You guide him to a godly woman who You have set apart for him, a woman who will love, cherish, and respect him as her husband, and who will be his helper, as You designed marriage to be. We pray that You orchestrate their meeting and that You make a way for them to grow in their knowledge of each other, as you know best.
Father, we ask for miracles in his life, for Your will to be done, and for Your kingdom to come in his life. We also petition You for a job that will use the gifts and talents You have given him. We know that You are his provider, and we trust that You will open the right doors for him. Guide him in his job search, and give him the wisdom and discernment to know Your will. If a job is not in the immediate future, then we pray for him to have patience and faith in you, as a child to his father.
Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen his faith and draw him closer to You during this time. Help him to trust in You with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding. In all his ways, may he acknowledge You, so that You can make his paths straight.
In Jesus' name, we believe and pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
And remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
'Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
'Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
