We are glad to join you in prayer, standing in agreement for God's will to be done in your life. We appreciate that you've asked for prayer in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking a spouse in a godly way. We are reminded that God has designed the family to consist of a man and a woman who honor and follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, we do need to clarify that a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be one of courtship with the goal of marriage. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality; therefore, we should not engage in sexual relations before marriage as this is fornication - 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." This is a firm warning from scripture.
We pray that God will bring a godly woman into your life, someone who loves the Lord and is eager to serve Him alongside you. We pray that you both will remain chaste before marriage, honoring God with your bodies and minds. Remember, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. Also, Matthew 19:5-6 WEB, "and said, 'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, do not let man tear apart.'"
We also lift up your employment situation to the Lord. Remember that God is your provider, and He cares for your every need. "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB. Trust in Him, and do not be anxious. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who seeks a godly spouse and employment. Lord, we ask that You bring a woman into his life who loves You and desires to serve You alongside him. Help them to remain pure before marriage, honoring You with their bodies and minds. We also ask that You open up job opportunities for him, knowing that You are his provider. Give him peace and direction as he seeks Your will for his life. We pray for miracles to happen in his life, according to Your will.
We pray and believe that you will help him to find a suitable spouse and a job to honor and serve you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and trust in the Lord. He has good plans for you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
