We are glad you have reached out with your prayer request, and we will join you in prayer and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to commend you for seeking God's will in your life and for asking for prayer in Jesus' name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." You are already understanding that God is the ultimate matchmaker. God wants us to live a life of abundance. Abundance includes a fulfilling marriage, but it also includes so much more. We are instructed to "seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." We must remember that we should be content in all circumstances. It is when we are content in all circumstances that we can truly be joyful. We are reminded in Philippians 4:11-13.
Beloved, let us remind you that God is faithful. He knows the desires of your heart. He knows you want to meet a godly woman to love and marry. In due time, He will fulfill your desires, as long as they align with His will. We encourage you to be patient and trust in God's timing. As it is written in Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
While you wait, use this time to prepare yourself spiritually, emotionally, and physically for marriage. Seek God's guidance in becoming the man and future husband He wants you to be. Also, ask God to prepare the woman He has for you, that she may be a godly wife and a suitable helper for you.
Regarding your unemployment, we want to encourage you with the words from Romans 8:28. All things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. God has a purpose for this season of unemployment. Trust Him and remain faithful in the small things and make sure to obey His will. In God's perfect timing, He will provide a job that is aligned with His will for your life. We encourage you to be proactive in your job search, but also to rest in God's promise to provide for your needs as it is written, "Consider the ravens: they don't sow, they don't reap, they have no warehouse or barn; and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!"
Now, let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before Your throne of grace, we come to seek and to ask for what we need. We lift up our brother in Christ, who desires a godly wife and a fulfilling marriage. Lord, prepare him for the woman You have for him. Help him make sure he has his priorities right. Help him to make sure he is well into a growing personal relationship with You through Jesus Christ. We ask that You would make a way for them to meet and get to know each other in practical ways. We ask for miracles to happen in his life. Lord, we also pray for your provision regarding his employment. We ask that you would open doors for a job that aligns with Your will for him. We thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
In the meantime, continue to trust and rest in God. Remember that God cares for you and wants the best for you. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, through prayer and petitions, make your requests known to God.
