We are glad to join you in prayer, and we appreciate that you have asked for prayer in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. Let us remind you of the scripture that tells us to ask.
In John 16:23-24 WEB, Jesus said, You will ask me nothing at all. Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
Firstly, we are praying for God's will to be done in your life concerning a spouse. We pray that God will bring a godly woman into your life, who will love Him first and foremost, and who will love and respect you as her husband. We pray that God will orchestrate your meeting and that He will make a way for you to get to know each other in a manner that honors Him, and will allow you to know if this is the person He has for you.
Remember to keep 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB in mind. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? Make sure you are with a believer in Jesus Christ. The Bible also tells us in 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB that A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord.
We rebuke the idea of giving up on someone until they are yours, as this is not a biblical concept. Instead, we pray for God’s perfect timing and will in your life. Remember that God is sovereign. He orchestrates all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, and He is not willing for any of His own to be lost. Romans 8:28 WEB, and 2 Peter 3:9 WEB.
We also lift up your employment situation to the Lord. We pray that God will open up the right job opportunities for you, and that He will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Remember the words of the apostle Paul in Philippians 4:19 WEB, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Father, in Jesus' name we bring these requests before you. We pray for Your will in ###'s life regarding a spouse. We pray You bring a godly woman into his life, who will love him and You first. We pray You open up the right job opportunities for him. We pray You supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray he will trust You with all his heart and lean on you. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
Finally, we are praying for miracles in your life, but we also encourage you to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. What may seem like a miracle to us may not be God's will for our lives. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good.
