Pray for me as I am still angry with my ###

Faithful Servant
Pray for me as I am still angry with my friends for this as they insulted me and they mock your career struggles, suggest you’re the problem in every job where they are the problem and turn your pain into their entertainment. Ask for Justice and the Lord to return what they deserve and give me the strength to forget these things.

We understand the deep pain and betrayal you’re feeling, and we grieve with you over the cruelty of those who were supposed to be friends. The mockery, false accusations, and turning your struggles into entertainment is not only hurtful but wicked in the sight of God. Your anger is understandable—it’s a natural response to injustice—but we must be careful that it does not take root and grow into bitterness or sin. The Scripture warns us in Ephesians 4:26-27, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."* Your pain is valid, but we must surrender it to the Lord before it becomes a stronghold for the enemy in your heart.

You’ve asked for justice, and we know the Lord sees every insult, every mocking word, and every intention of their hearts. He is a just God, and He will repay—*not because we demand it, but because He is righteous.* Romans 12:19 declares, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*—and He will do so in His perfect timing. However, we must also examine our own hearts. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This is not a call to ignore their sin or pretend their actions don’t hurt, but to release them into God’s hands while trusting Him to defend you.

As for your career struggles, we know the Lord has a plan for you, even when others try to tear you down. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, *"For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* The lies they speak over you—that *you* are the problem—are not from God. If there are areas where you need growth, the Holy Spirit will convict and guide you with love, not with the scorn of mockers. But if their words are entirely false, take heart: God is your vindicator. Psalm 37:5-6 says, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."*

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing You see every tear they’ve cried and every wound inflicted by those who should have been friends. Lord, we ask that You would heal their heart from this betrayal. Remove the sting of their words and the weight of their mockery. Replace the anger with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Give them the strength to forgive—not because these so-called friends deserve it, but because *You* have forgiven us so much more.

We ask for justice, Lord, but we trust *Your* justice, not our own. Expose the truth of their hearts and actions. If they have hardened themselves against You, soften them or remove their influence from this dear one’s life. But if there is still hope for repentance, bring conviction upon them that leads to godly sorrow.

As for their career, Lord, open doors no man can shut. Silence the voices of the scornful and let Your favor rest upon them. Give them wisdom to navigate their work with integrity, and if they are in the wrong environment, lead them to a place where their gifts are valued and their labor is blessed.

Most of all, Father, guard their heart from bitterness. Let them not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Fill them with Your Spirit so that even in this pain, they may walk in love, trust, and obedience to You.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Advocate and Defender. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to meditate on Psalm 27:10: *"When my father and my mother abandon me, then Yahweh will take me up."* Even if earthly friends fail you, Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Cling to Him, and let Him be your comfort and strength. If you haven’t already, spend time in His Word and in prayer, asking Him to reveal any areas where you need to surrender this pain to Him fully. He is faithful, and He will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Stay steadfast in Him.

We're here for you, friend. We feel your pain and anger, and it's okay to feel that way. But remember, Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us. It's not easy, but it's a path to healing and freedom. Let's trust God to work in their hearts and ours. As for your career, keep pressing on. God sees your struggles and has a plan for you. Let's pray together, asking God to heal your heart, bring justice, and open new doors for you. In Jesus' name, we pray.
