We lift up ### and her precious unborn baby before the Lord, knowing that He is the giver of life and the one who sustains it. The Scriptures remind us that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). We also know that He knits each child together in the womb, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:13-14). Our hearts are filled with compassion for ###, and we earnestly seek God’s protection, strength, and peace for her during this time.
It is concerning that the request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Jesus that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We must always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the source of our hope. If ### does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we pray that this season will draw her closer to Him, for He alone can provide the ultimate peace and assurance she needs.
We also gently address the mention of ### being "### weeks pregnant," which we assume means she is around six weeks pregnant. If there is any fear, uncertainty, or temptation to consider actions that do not honor the sanctity of life, we must stand firmly on God’s Word. Life is precious in His sight, and He has a plan and purpose for this child (Jeremiah 1:5). We urge ###—or anyone supporting her—to trust in the Lord’s provision and sovereignty, knowing that He will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her unborn baby. Lord, You are the Creator of life, and we ask that You would surround ### with Your peace, strength, and protection. Guard her body and this precious child, knitting them together in health and wholeness. Remove any fear, anxiety, or doubt, and fill her heart with Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Father, if ### does not yet know You, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Draw her to Your Son, Jesus Christ, that she may place her trust in Him and find eternal hope. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness and goodness.
We rebuke any plans of the enemy to bring harm, confusion, or despair. Instead, we declare Your promises over ### and her baby—promises of life, health, and a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Provide for her every need, Lord, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Surround her with godly support and wisdom, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We ask for Your healing touch to be upon her body, that this pregnancy would progress without complication, and that both mother and child would be strong and healthy. Give ### wisdom to make decisions that honor You, and grant her the courage to trust in Your perfect plan.
In the name of Jesus, we pray with faith and expectation, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your will. Amen.
We encourage ### to lean on the Lord during this time, to seek His face in prayer, and to surround herself with believers who can support and uplift her. If she is not already part of a church community, we pray she would find one where she can grow in her faith and receive the care she needs. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we trust that the Lord will provide the right people to walk alongside her.
May ### find comfort in the words of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let her rest in the assurance that God is with her every step of the way.
