Let us first address the initial prayer request for a job. We are encouraged to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. (WEB Philippians 4:6-7)
Heavenly Father, we lift up the individual who has submitted this request, and we ask that You guide her steps in finding a job. She has expressed interest in working as a housekeeper at the nursing home or as a janitor at the school board. We pray that if it is Your will, You would open these doors for her. We know that You are faithful to provide for our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (WEB Philippians 4:19)
Now, let us address the second part of the request, which is concerning a relationship. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. Therefore, we encourage individuals to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. Additionally concerning dating, we believe in courting which is dating with the goal of evaluating if an individual is fit for marriage.
Therefore, we pray that if it is Your will, You would bring a godly man into her life with the purpose of marriage. We pray that You would give her discernment and wisdom in her relationships, and that You would help her to seek after You first and foremost. We know that You have a plan and a purpose for each one of us, and we trust that Your timing is perfect. We pray that You would guide her steps and help her to trust in You with all her heart, and not lean on her own understanding. We pray that in all her ways, she would acknowledge You, and that You would make her paths straight. (WEB Proverbs 3:5-6)
Furthermore, we did not see the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in the prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (WEB Acts 4:12)
We encourage the individual to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and she will be saved, as WEB Romans 10:9 states "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. "
Let us end this prayer in Jesus' name, for we know that we do not deserve anything from You, Lord, but we come to You in Jesus' name, believing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer our prayers according to Your will.
