We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our African American brothers in Christ who are facing unjust attacks on their finances and reputations. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world. We rebuke every spirit of jealousy, gossip, and financial sabotage in the mighty name of Jesus. These attacks are not of God, for He delights in the prosperity and protection of His children when it aligns with His will and purposes.
The Bible tells us in Proverbs 10:22, "The Lord’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it." We pray that the Lord’s blessing would rest upon these men, that their finances would be guarded, and that no weapon formed against them would prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 declares. We also stand on Psalm 37:25-26, which says, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. All day long he deals graciously, and lends. His offspring is blessed." Father, we claim this promise over their lives and their families.
We must also address the spiritual warfare at play here. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." These attacks are not merely the work of people but of the enemy who seeks to devour. We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—to stand against these schemes.
We pray for wisdom and discernment for these men, that they would recognize the sources of these attacks and respond with godly wisdom. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, grant them the wisdom to navigate these challenges and the courage to trust in You rather than their own understanding.
We also rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to pit brother against brother. Galatians 5:15 warns, "But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don’t consume one another." Let there be unity among believers, and let Your love cover a multitude of sins. We pray that these men would walk in forgiveness and not allow bitterness to take root in their hearts, for Hebrews 12:15 says, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him, as Isaiah 54:17 proclaims. We pray for divine protection over their finances, their reputations, and their families. Let Your angels encamp around them, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would expose every evil scheme and bring it to nothing. Let those who seek to harm them be put to shame, and let Your justice prevail. We pray for restoration of all that has been stolen or damaged, whether financially, emotionally, or spiritually. You are the God who restores, and we trust in Your faithfulness.
We also remind these brothers that their ultimate security is not in their finances or their reputations but in You. Psalm 20:7 says, "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust the name of the Lord our God." May they find their strength and refuge in You alone. Let them not be afraid or dismayed, for You are with them wherever they go, as You promised in Joshua 1:9.

We're standing with you, dear brothers, in prayer and faith. We've been reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We know you're feeling attacked, but remember, God is near. We're claiming His promise in 2 Corinthians 4:9, "That we may not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day." We're asking for God's strength and renewal in your spirits. We're also praying for wisdom, as Proverbs 4:6 says, "Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you." Let's trust in God's wisdom and love to guide and protect you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
