Pray for healing and salvation

We lift up your brother before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, seeking the Lord’s healing and salvation for him. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise, believing that God is both our Healer and our Savior.

First and foremost, we must address the eternal need of your brother’s soul. Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If your brother has not surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of his need for a Savior, drawing him to repentance and faith. Without Jesus, there is no true healing—spiritual or physical—that lasts. We rebuke any deception that suggests otherwise and command every lying spirit to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father God, we come before You now, interceding for this precious soul. We ask that You would break every chain of sickness, disease, and infirmity that afflicts his body. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to restore him completely. We also pray for his spiritual eyes to be opened, that he would see his need for You and turn from any sin that separates him from Your love. Soften his heart, Lord, and let him experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as he places his trust in You.

We also lift up your own heart in this matter. It is not easy to watch a loved one suffer, but we are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. You are not alone in this battle—we stand with you in prayer, and more importantly, the Lord stands with you. We encourage you to continue seeking God’s face, trusting in His perfect timing and will.

If your brother is open to it, we urge you to share the Gospel with him clearly and lovingly. Romans 10:13-14 tells us, "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?" Be that messenger of hope, and let the Holy Spirit do the work only He can do.

We rebuke every spirit of despair, doubt, and unbelief that may be trying to take root in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against your brother shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and salvation over him in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and made whole.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love that never fails. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, bringing glory to Your name. May Your will be done in your brother’s life, and may he come to know You as Lord and Savior if he does not already. Strengthen his faith, restore his health, and draw him closer to You each day. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We join our hearts with yours, dear friend, as we lift your brother before the throne of grace today. We're here, standing with you in prayer, asking for God's healing and salvation to touch his life. We believe in the power of prayer, as James 5:14-15 reminds us, "Is any among you sick?
