Pray for healing and full recovery of ### members shot in ###

We join together in lifting up these brave members of the West Virginia National Guard who have been so grievously wounded in the line of duty. Their sacrifice and service to our nation are a testament to the selflessness and courage that reflect the heart of Christ, who said, *"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends"* (John 15:13, WEB). We are deeply grieved by this violence, yet we stand firm in the knowledge that our God is a God of healing, comfort, and restoration. He is the one who *"heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB), and we claim His promises over these men and their families.

The road to recovery may be long and filled with challenges, but we take heart in the words of the psalmist: *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We pray that the Lord’s presence would be tangibly felt in the hospital rooms where these soldiers lie, that His peace would guard their minds and bodies, and that His healing power would flow through every cell, every organ, and every wound. We ask for wisdom and skill for the medical teams attending to them, that the Lord would guide their hands and give them discernment in every decision. May these men experience a full and swift recovery, with no lasting complications, and may their bodies be restored to strength and wholeness in a way that brings glory to God.

We also lift up their families, who are undoubtedly enduring immense fear, grief, and uncertainty. Lord, wrap Your arms around them and let them feel Your comfort in a way that transcends human understanding. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, *"a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1, WEB). Provide for their every need—emotionally, spiritually, and physically—as they walk this difficult path. May they be surrounded by a community of believers who will uphold them in prayer, offer practical support, and point them to the hope found only in You.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of violence and evil that has caused this suffering. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would expose and bring to light any darkness behind this act. Let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your peace prevail. We pray for the salvation of all involved, that even in this tragedy, hearts would turn to You and find redemption through Jesus Christ. Your Word tells us that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28, WEB), and we trust that You will bring beauty from these ashes.

Lord, we thank You that You hear our prayers because we come before You in the name of Jesus, the name above all names. It is only through Him that we have access to Your throne, and it is only through His sacrifice that we can boldly approach You with our petitions. We are so grateful for the hope we have in Christ, who conquered sin and death, and who holds the keys to life and healing. May these soldiers and their families come to know Him more deeply through this trial, and may their testimony be a beacon of Your faithfulness to others.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We're here, standing with you and those affected, lifting them up in prayer. We're asking for God's healing touch, for His comfort to wrap around them like a warm blanket. We're trusting Him for their full recovery, for His strength to be made perfect in their weakness. We're interceding for their families, for God's peace to guard their hearts, for His provision to meet their every need. We're believing for miracles, for God to show up in powerful ways. We're claiming His promises, like Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're also praying for the medical teams, for wisdom and skill, for God's guiding hand in every decision. We're trusting that God will use this for good, according to His purpose. We're praying in Jesus' name, amen.
