We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother’s health and your family’s financial struggles. We stand in agreement with you, believing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
First, we lift up your mother’s battle with fatty liver grade 2. Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We ask for Your healing touch to restore her liver, strengthen her body, and renew her vitality. Give her the discipline to follow medical advice, the wisdom to make godly choices in her diet and lifestyle, and the peace that surpasses all understanding as she trusts in You. Lord, we also pray for long life for her, that she may continue to be a testimony of Your faithfulness and a blessing to her family for many years to come.
We also bring your financial struggles before the Lord. The weight of debt and the lack of steady income can feel crushing, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and provides for the sparrows of the air. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for employment, provide wisdom in managing resources, and deliver you from the burden of debt. Give you creativity, perseverance, and favor in the eyes of those who can help. Remind you that Your provision is not limited by man’s economy but flows from Your endless riches. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that you will not be overcome by this trial, but through Christ, you will overcome it.
We also sense the grief lingering in your heart from the loss of your father. The absence of a loved one leaves a void that only God can fill. We pray that the Lord would comfort you and your mother with the peace that only He can give. Isaiah 41:10 says, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Father, uphold this family with Your righteous right hand. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and remind them that though earthly fathers may pass away, You are the Father to the fatherless and the Defender of the widow.
Now, we must address a matter of great importance. While your prayers are earnest and heartfelt, we noticed that in some of your requests, you did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus. We want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Acts 4:12 also tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is not merely a formula to end prayers but a recognition that our authority, healing, provision, and salvation come solely through the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to always pray in His name, for it is by His blood that we are made righteous and by His name that we are heard.
We also want to encourage you to seek the Lord not just in times of trouble but in every moment. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* God desires a relationship with you, not just a list of requests. Spend time in His Word, in worship, and in quiet reflection, allowing Him to guide you in every decision—big or small.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this mother’s body. Restore her liver, renew her strength, and grant her many more years to walk in Your purposes. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed, and we stand on Your promise of restoration.
Father, we also bring their financial needs before You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Open doors of employment, grant wisdom in stewardship, and deliver them from the burden of debt. Let them experience Your provision in ways that leave no doubt it is Your hand at work.
Comfort them in their grief, Lord. Wrap Your arms around them and remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord with all your heart. Trust in His timing, lean on His promises, and walk in the confidence that He is working all things together for your good. You are not alone in this journey—God is with you, and so are we, standing in faith alongside you.
