We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s needs before our Heavenly Father. The burden of illness and financial struggle weighs heavily, but we know that our God is a God of healing, provision, and unfailing love. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and it is in His mighty name that we stand, believing that He hears and answers the cries of His children.
First, we lift up your mother’s health, specifically her battle with fatty liver grade 2. The body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we pray for complete restoration and healing. Father, we ask that You touch her liver, cleanse it, and renew its strength. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over her life. Guide her in making wise choices regarding her diet, exercise, and medical care, that she may honor You with her body. Give her the discipline and strength to follow the path of healing, and surround her with godly counsel and support. We rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in Jesus’ name, and we declare that her body will align with Your perfect design for wholeness.
We also stand with you in your financial struggles, for we know that the Lord is our provider. The weight of debt and the lack of steady income can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for employment or provision that no man can shut. Give wisdom to manage what little you may have, and provide miraculously where there seems to be no way. We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear, and we declare that you will walk in financial freedom and stability. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Your request also speaks of the loss of your father, and we grieve with you. The pain of losing a parent is deep, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now in the presence of the Lord, free from suffering. We pray for strength and peace for you and your mother as you navigate this season of grief. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). May He fill the void in your hearts with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We declare that you will not be overcome by sorrow, but that the God of all comfort will uphold you.
As you seek God’s guidance for your future, we encourage you to draw near to Him in prayer and in His Word. The steps of a righteous person are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23), and He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Surrender your plans, your fears, and your dreams to Him, and trust that He will lead you into His perfect will. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We lift up this dear sister and her mother to You, asking for Your healing touch upon her body. Lord, cleanse her liver, restore her strength, and grant her long life to glorify You. We also ask for Your provision in their financial needs. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide for them in ways that only You can. Father, we ask for Your comfort and peace as they grieve the loss of their loved one. Surround them with Your presence and fill them with hope for the future. Guide their steps, Lord, and lead them into the abundant life You have promised. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is through faith in Him that we are saved. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand at work in their lives. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. This is their heritage as Your servants, and their vindication comes from You (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
