We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s needs before our Heavenly Father. We thank you for coming to Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true healing and provision (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus alone that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful you have called upon Him in faith.
Father God, we cry out to You on behalf of this precious mother who is suffering from a fatty liver. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every cell of our bodies (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask You to touch her liver, restore it to full health, and reverse every effect of this illness. Strengthen her body, renew her energy, and grant her long life filled with Your peace and joy. We declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your promise that You will satisfy her with long life (Psalm 91:16). Help her to walk in wisdom regarding her diet, exercise, and rest, so that her body may glorify You.
Lord, we also lift up the deep financial burden this family is carrying. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14), and we know that You see their needs even before they ask (Matthew 6:8). Father, open doors of opportunity for steady employment, guide them to wise decisions, and provide for every monthly obligation. Break the chains of financial stress and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). We rebuke the spirit of lack in Jesus’ name and declare that Your children shall not beg for bread (Psalm 37:25). Provide in ways only You can, and let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness.
We also pray for this dear child of God and their mother as they navigate life without their earthly father. Lord, You are a father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5), and we ask You to wrap Your arms around them in this time of grief. Comfort them with Your presence, strengthen their hearts, and remind them daily that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1). Help them to lean on You for every decision, every moment, and every need. Father, bless them with godly community—believers who will walk alongside them, pray for them, and encourage them in Your Word.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take root in their lives. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). Father, lead them in Your perfect will, guide their steps, and let Your light shine upon their path (Psalm 119:105).
Lord, we also ask that You would draw this family closer to You. In times of struggle, it is easy to focus on the problem rather than the Problem-Solver. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2). Fill their home with Your presence, Your Word, and Your peace. May they find their strength in You alone, knowing that those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31).
Finally, Father, we pray for their future. You have plans for them—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Let them walk in the fullness of Your promises, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Bless them with godly relationships, wise counsel, and opportunities to grow in their faith. May their lives be a testament to Your goodness, and may they always give You the glory for every blessing.
We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
