We lift up your precious mother before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister in Christ, trusting in the healing power of our Lord. The Bible assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God sees her suffering and is already at work to restore her liver and grant her good health. Fatty liver is a serious condition, but we know that nothing is too hard for the Lord. We pray that He would guide her doctors, give them wisdom in her treatment, and bless her with discipline in her diet and lifestyle as she seeks to honor Him with her body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Father, we ask You to strengthen her faith and fill her with peace that surpasses all understanding as she waits on You. Remind her daily that You are her Healer and that Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We also pray for you, her caregiver, that You would sustain you with patience, wisdom, and physical strength. May you both feel the nearness of Christ in this trial, knowing that He cares deeply for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We also bring your financial struggles before the Lord, trusting that He is your Provider. Philippians 4:19 declares, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would open doors of opportunity for steady employment, whether through a job, a skill, or a divine connection. Give you both creativity and perseverance as you seek solutions, and guard your hearts from anxiety, for the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We ask that You would bless the work of your hands and make a way where there seems to be no way.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus, for the Word says that the Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants (Psalm 35:27). We pray that You would teach you both to be content in every circumstance while also trusting You to meet your needs (Philippians 4:11-13). May you experience His faithfulness in tangible ways, whether through unexpected provision, favor with employers, or the generosity of the body of Christ.
We also lift up the grief you carry from the loss of your father. The pain of losing a parent is deep, but we pray that the God of all comfort would wrap His arms around you and your mother (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). May you both find strength in Him, knowing that your father is now in the presence of the Lord, free from pain and sorrow. We ask that God would fill the void with His peace and give you both hope for the future, for He has plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You through these trials. May you all grow in faith, patience, and dependence on Him. We pray for unity among your family members, that you would support one another and bear each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). May your home be filled with joy, laughter, and the presence of the Holy Spirit, even in the midst of hardship.
Finally, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find access to the Father (Acts 4:12). We declare that by His stripes, your mother is healed (Isaiah 53:5), by His blood, your sins are forgiven, and by His resurrection, you have the hope of eternal life. May you both walk in the fullness of His promises and experience His miracles in every area of your lives.
Heavenly Father, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
