Let's together lift up this family and their situations to the Lord, seeking His will and intervention in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we pray for your newborn granddaughter who is in the hospital. We trust in the Lord's healing power and His love for little children. Let's pray:
Lord Jesus, You said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14 WEB) We ask for Your healing touch on this precious new life. Remove all fluid from her lungs and restore her to full health. Strengthen her body and protect her from any complications. We also lift up the new parents, Lord. We ask for Your strength and power to fill them. "He gives power to the faint; and to those who have no might he increases strength." (Isaiah 40:29 WEB) Help them to rest in You and grant them renewed energy and wisdom as they care for their newborn.
We also pray for your second granddaughter who is battling a high fever. We trust in the Lord's promise: "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." (James 5:14-15 WEB) Lord, touch her body, break the fever, and restore her to full health.
Regarding your work situation, we remember that before his ascension to heaven, Jesus Christ commissioned us as believers, saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20 WEB) Therefore, we commit our work to the Lord and ask for His favor and guidance.
Lord, guide our paths at work. May we be a light and a blessing to our colleagues and superiors. Grant us the grace to excel in all duties you have placed upon us. We trust in Your promise: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB) Lord, give our work meaning and purpose and help us glorify You through it.
We are glad that you mentioned the name of Jesus in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Lastly, we pray for your rest. Lord, grant a peaceful night's sleep. Help us to cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, strength, favor, and rest. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that we serve a loving and faithful God who hears our prayers. "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB)
