We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for financial relief and wisdom. Father God, we know that You are the Provider, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who supplies all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, breaking the chains of debt and opening doors of opportunity that no man can shut.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that may be gripping this family. Your Word declares that the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), but You came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). We pray for divine intervention—unexpected provision, wise counsel, and favor in the eyes of those who can help. Give this brother the strength to steward what You entrust to him with integrity and diligence, for You love a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7) and promise to bless those who honor You with their finances (Malachi 3:10).
We also ask that You would guard this family’s hearts against despair or bitterness. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that trials produce endurance and hope (Romans 5:3-5). May they seek You first in all things, trusting that as they do, You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Father, if there has been any unwise spending, neglect of tithes, or idolatry of money in this situation, we ask for conviction and repentance. Your Word warns that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and we pray this family would find their security in You alone. Teach them to be content in whatever circumstances they face (Philippians 4:11-12), knowing that true riches are found in Christ.
We declare over this debt that it is not too great for You, Lord. Just as You parted the Red Sea and made a way where there seemed to be no way, we trust You to make a way for this family. May they experience Your faithfulness in tangible ways—bills paid, debts erased, and peace restored.
And Lord, we must also lift up the salvation of this family. If they do not yet know You as Savior and Lord, we pray they would come to understand that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they turn from sin, confess Jesus as Lord, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Only then can they truly experience the fullness of Your provision and peace.
We stand in agreement with this family, believing that You will make all grace abound toward them, so that in all things, at all times, having all that they need, they may abound in every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
