We are so grateful to join with you in prayer for your family, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Let's first pray for your children. We ask, Lord, that you surround them with your divine protection and guidance. As it is written in Proverbs 22:6 WEB, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We pray that they will grow in wisdom and stature, and that they will be strong and healthy in all their ways. We ask that you calm their nerves and give them confidence as they prepare for their Easter play. Help them to remember their speeches and may your love shine through them as they minister to others.
For your teenage and adult children, we pray that they will be free from negative influences and negative personality traits. We ask God to surround them with godly friends who will encourage them in their walk with Christ. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB, "Don't be deceived. 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" We pray that they will be a light to the world, boldly sharing their faith with others and remembering the teachings they have received, as instructed in Matthew 28:19-20 WEB, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen."
For your husband, we pray that his eyes and heart will be shielded from the grasp of addiction. We ask God to deliver him from temptation and to fill him with his Holy Spirit. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that your husband will fix his eyes on Jesus and be transformed by the renewing of his mind, as instructed in Romans 12:2 WEB, "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
We are so thankful that you have submitted this prayer request in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by his name that we have access to the Father and it is only by his name that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Together, we stand in agreement with you, believing that God will answer these prayers according to his will. We encourage you to continue to pray fervently for your family and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Keep in mind that our Heavenly Father loves your family even more than you do, so put all your trust in Him and thank Him for what He is going to do.
