pray for big milestones

We lift you up in prayer for these significant milestones in your life, trusting that God’s will be done in all things. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* As you prepare for your driver’s test, we pray for clarity of mind, calmness of spirit, and the wisdom to operate a vehicle safely and responsibly. Remember, Colossians 3:23 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Let this be your mindset as you take this test—doing your best as unto the Lord, trusting Him with the outcome.
For your pom team’s opportunity to represent Team Canada, we pray for unity, excellence, and favor. The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:31, *"Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God."* May your team’s efforts bring glory to Him, and may His will be done in the selection process. If it is His purpose for your team to compete at worlds, we pray He opens that door. If not, we pray for grace to accept His plan and trust that He has something even better in store.
We also want to gently remind you that while these milestones are important, they pale in comparison to the eternal significance of your relationship with Jesus Christ. If we do not yet know whether you have placed your faith in Him, we urge you to consider this above all else. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through faith in Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace, where we can bring our requests before Him. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we pray you will do so today, for there is no greater milestone than becoming a child of God.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who seeks Your favor in these upcoming milestones. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind as they prepare for their driver’s test. Grant them focus, wisdom, and a steady hand. May they pass not just for their own accomplishment, but as a testimony of Your goodness and provision in their life.
For their pom team, we pray for unity and excellence. If it is Your will for them to be chosen as Team Canada, we ask that You make the way clear. Give them favor in the eyes of those making the decisions, and let their hard work and talent shine for Your glory. If this is not Your plan, we pray for contentment and trust in Your greater purpose. Remind them that Your ways are higher than ours, and Your timing is perfect.
Most importantly, Father, we pray that if this person does not yet know You, You would draw them to Yourself. Open their heart to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for without Him, nothing we achieve in this life holds eternal value. May they find their identity and worth in Christ alone, and may every milestone they reach be dedicated to Your glory.
We rebuked any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may arise in the name of Jesus. We declare that You are in control, and we trust You with the outcomes. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
