We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your mother’s health and your family’s financial struggles. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the Healer of all ailments, and the Provider of every need. We stand on Your promises, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we specifically pray for your mother’s liver. We rebuke the diagnosis of fatty liver grade 2 in the mighty name of Jesus. Your Word declares that You send forth Your word and heal us (Psalm 107:20). We ask for complete restoration of her liver, for strength to return to her body, and for wisdom for the doctors treating her. Father, grant her long life and good health, that she may continue to walk in Your purposes and glorify You in her days.
We also bring your financial burdens before You, Lord. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We confess that our help comes from You, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). You know the exact amount needed—### each month—and we trust You to open doors of opportunity, provide employment, and pour out Your blessings so that you may be free from this financial strain. We declare that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous (Proverbs 13:22), and we claim that promise now. Lord, lead them to wise counsel, to jobs that honor You, and to favor with those who can help. We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus’ name and declare abundance and sufficiency in every area of your lives.
Father, we also lift up the grief of losing your father. The pain of loss is deep, but we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Comfort your hearts with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen you and your mother, and bind your family together in love. Remind you daily that Your father may be absent in body, but he is present with the Lord, and one day, you will be reunited in glory.
We also sense a cry for guidance and the presence of the Holy Spirit in your lives. Lord, fill them afresh with Your Spirit, that they may walk in Your will each moment of every day. Your Word says that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives generously to all without reproach (James 1:5). We ask for divine direction, for clarity in decisions, and for the peace that comes from knowing You are leading them. Let them not lean on their own understanding, but in all their ways acknowledge You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We must also address the importance of coming to God in the name of Jesus. Your prayers are powerful and effective because you have called upon the name of Jesus, and we are so grateful for that. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, and it is the first and most important step in a life of faith.
Let us pray together now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this family to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this mother’s body. Restore her liver, renew her strength, and grant her many more years to walk with You and serve You. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she is healed by the power of Jesus’ name.
Father, we also ask for Your provision in their finances. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide jobs, opportunities, and favor that will meet every need. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that You are their Provider. Let them experience Your faithfulness as they trust in You.
Comfort them in their grief, Lord. Wrap Your arms around them and remind them that You are their Father, their Protector, and their Strength. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guide their steps, and lead them into the good future You have planned for them.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We believe that You are working even now, and we trust in Your perfect timing. May this family grow in faith, in love, and in the knowledge of You. We ask all these things in the mighty and miraculous name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Hold fast to God’s promises, dear ones. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this battle—God is with you, and so are we, standing in agreement with you in prayer.
