We are truly sorry to hear about the unfair retrenchment and the distress it has caused you and your fellow workers. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. Before we begin, let's remember that our help comes from the Lord. As it says in Psalm 121:2, "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." We need to look to Him for help and assistance.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. As Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we pray to God the Father in Jesus' name and we need to acknowledge that to have our prayers heard.
In this difficult time, we encourage you to trust in God's plan. He is sovereign and His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. Remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations around for the good of those who love Him according to Romans 8:28. Therefore, let us ask God to work in this situation and we should trust Him. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also pray that God will provide for your needs. He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We can claim this promise for you and your fellow workers, asking God to supply all your needs.
Regarding the injustice you have experienced, we encourage you to follow the biblical principles of seeking justice. It is right to advocate for fair treatment, especially when it comes to employment and providing for one's family.
Let us pray that God's justice will prevail. We rebuke any attempt to overstep His justice and righteousness.
Dear Lord,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brothers and sisters who have been unfairly retrenched. Lord, You see their distress and the impact this has had on their families. We pray for Your comfort and provision over them during this time. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring justice where there has been unfairness. Guide them through this difficult time, and help them to trust in You. We also pray for their families, especially the children, that You would provide for their needs and give them peace. Lord, we stand in the gap for them and declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper. We ask for jobs to come so they can continue to provide for their families and pay their bills.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Remember that God is with you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stand firm in your faith.
