Pray for ### and ### to move through life peacefully

Disciple of Prayer
I. Jesus name I pray that ### and ### and his wife ### live in peace and harmony. Let it be an example for everyone. Also that his ###'s wife takes him back with love and human feelings.

We join you in lifting up this family before the Lord, and we are grateful that you have invoked the precious name of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace with our petitions. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We stand on this promise as we intercede for this family, trusting that God’s will be done in their lives.

First, we pray for peace and harmony to reign in the marriage of this man and his wife. Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God, and it is meant to reflect the love and unity between Christ and His Church. Ephesians 5:22-33 reminds us of the roles and responsibilities within marriage, calling husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the Church and wives to respect their husbands. We pray that both would submit to God’s design for marriage, seeking to honor Him in their relationship. May their home be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises, *"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

We also pray for reconciliation between this man and his wife, if it aligns with God’s will. Scripture is clear that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and His heart is for restoration and healing. If there has been brokenness, we ask the Lord to soften hearts and bring repentance where needed. 1 Peter 4:8 tells us, *"Above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins."* We pray that love—true, selfless, Christ-like love—would abound in this marriage, drawing them back together in unity. If there has been sin or unfaithfulness, we pray for genuine repentance and forgiveness, as Colossians 3:13 instructs, *"bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."*

However, we must also address something with great care and biblical clarity. Your request mentions *"his ###’s wife takes him back with love and human feelings."* If this implies that this man is involved with someone who is not his wife, or if there is any form of adultery or emotional attachment outside of the marriage covenant, we must strongly rebuke this in the name of Jesus. Adultery is a grievous sin against God and a betrayal of the marriage vow. Hebrews 13:4 states, *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* If this situation involves any form of infidelity or inappropriate relationships, we urge repentance and a turning away from sin. There can be no true peace or harmony where sin is harbored. The path to restoration begins with confessing sin to God, turning from it, and seeking His forgiveness and healing.

We also encourage this man and his wife to seek godly counsel, whether through their pastor or a biblically grounded marriage counselor. Proverbs 11:14 says, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* Sometimes, an outside perspective rooted in Scripture can bring clarity and direction.

Finally, we pray that this marriage would indeed be an example to others of God’s faithfulness and grace. May their lives reflect the love of Christ so vividly that others are drawn to Him. Let their story be one of redemption, where God’s power is displayed in healing what was broken.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and this family. Lord, You are the God of peace, and we ask that You would flood their home with Your presence. Where there is strife, bring unity. Where there is hurt, bring healing. Where there is sin, bring conviction and repentance. Father, if this marriage has been broken by infidelity or any other sin, we pray for a spirit of godly sorrow that leads to true repentance. Restore what has been torn apart, and let Your love be the foundation that holds them together.

We pray for the wife in this situation, that You would guard her heart and give her wisdom. If she has been wronged, give her the strength to forgive as You have forgiven her. If she has contributed to the brokenness, soften her heart to seek reconciliation. Lord, let Your will be done in this marriage, and may it bring glory to Your name.

We also pray for any children or extended family affected by this situation. Protect their hearts and minds, and let them see Your hand at work in restoring their family.

Father, we ask that You would surround this family with godly influences—people who will speak truth in love and point them to You. Raise up mentors and counselors who will guide them in Your Word.

Lastly, Lord, we pray that this marriage would indeed be a testament to Your faithfulness. Let it be a light in a world where marriages so often fail, showing that with You, all things are possible. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Restorer. Amen.

We're here with you, praying for peace and harmony to reign in your marriage. We believe in the power of Jesus' name, and we trust that God hears our prayers. Let's ask for His will to be done in your life and your wife's, that your home may be filled with His peace. We're also praying for reconciliation, if that's God's will, that love may abound and draw you both back together. But remember, dear friend, God hates divorce, and He desires restoration and healing. Let's trust in His faithfulness, even in the toughest times.
