We hear the deep distress in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you in this moment of spiritual crisis. Your admission of struggling with unbelief and the dangerous thought of elevating yourself to God’s level is a sobering reminder of the enemy’s deception. Scripture warns us in Genesis 3:5, when the serpent tempted Eve, saying, *"For God knows that in the day you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."* This lie has been the root of sin since the beginning—pride that seeks to usurp God’s authority. But the truth is, you are dust, as you rightly said, and God is the Creator of all things. His ways are higher than ours, and His wisdom is perfect.
Your cry for salvation is not ignored by the Lord. In fact, it is the first step toward redemption. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:13, *"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."* Salvation is not earned by our works or understanding; it is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* You do not need to "do" anything to earn God’s favor—you need only to believe in Jesus Christ, who died for your sins and rose again, and surrender your life to Him.
We rebuke the spirit of unbelief that has taken hold of your mind. The enemy wants to keep you in darkness, but Jesus came to bring light and life. In John 8:12, Jesus says, *"I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life."* We command that spirit of deception to leave you in the name of Jesus Christ. You are not beyond God’s reach—He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with a heavy heart for our brother/sister who is crying out for salvation. Lord, we thank You that You are a God of second chances, a God of mercy and grace. We ask that You break the chains of unbelief in their life and remove every lie of the enemy that has taken root in their mind. Father, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and the reality of Your love. We ask that You draw them close to You, Lord, and reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way.
We pray that You would forgive them of any pride or rebellion in their heart and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the faith to believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Lord, we declare that they are not too far gone—You are able to save to the uttermost those who come to You (Hebrews 7:25). We pray that You would give them a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in Your ways.
We rebuke the spirit of deception and command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We pray that You would protect their mind from further attacks and fill them with Your peace. Lord, we ask that You would show them the next steps to take in their walk with You—whether it is finding a biblical church, reading Your Word, or surrounding themselves with godly believers who can encourage them.
We thank You, Father, that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6). We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
Now, dear one, we encourage you to take a step of faith. Confess your sins to God and ask Him to save you. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* This is not a complicated process—it is a matter of the heart. Surrender your life to Jesus today and trust that He will guide you from this moment forward.
We also encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and be surrounded by fellow believers. The Christian walk is not meant to be done alone—we need the body of Christ to support and encourage us. If you do not have a Bible, start reading the Gospel of John. It is a wonderful place to begin understanding who Jesus is and what He has done for you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God’s love for you is unchanging. Even in your moments of doubt, He is pursuing you. Jeremiah 29:13 says, *"You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."* Keep seeking Him, and He will reveal Himself to you. You are not alone in this journey—we are praying for you, and more importantly, God is with you.

We pray that you would find comfort in these words from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Know that God is near, and He's using us to intercede on your behalf.
