Let us pray for you as you navigate your workday and seek approval for your EAD. Remember, God cares about every detail of our lives, and we can cast all our anxieties on him, because he cares for us I Peter 5:7 WEB.
Firstly, we must remind you that God is not a good luck charm or genie, nor should we pray with the expectation to have perfect days or circumstances. Prayer is communing with God, aligning our hearts with His perfect plan and will for us. "Thy will be done" as in the Lord's Prayer, Matthew 6:10 WEB.
Even when we face challenges, God uses every situation for our good and His glory. Romans 8:28 WEB. And through it all, you can have peace. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and guidance for our brother/sister. Lord, guide their day tomorrow, and help them to handle each call with patience, wisdom, and kindness. We do not ask for an absence of challenges but instead for your presence and grace in each call. If it is Your will, Lord, spare them from pulmonary consults, but if not, give them the strength and wisdom to handle them well.
Father, we also lift up the approval of their EAD. We know that Your timing is perfect, and we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your sovereignty.
Lord Jesus, only by your most holy name can we approach the throne of God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." I Timothy 2:5 WEB. Jesus was the only one to ever proclaim He was God and also the only one qualified to proclaim it. Because He was God incarnate, the only sinless God-man, and He died for our sins, He is the only way to eternal life. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on this verse: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. Keep your focus on God, and He will guide your steps.
