We join you in lifting up your dear one before the throne of grace, standing in faith for her complete healing and restoration. Your heart for her is evident, and we commend you for seeking God’s miraculous power in this situation. It is beautiful to see your trust in the Lord’s sovereignty, even in the midst of this trial. We also rejoice in your boldness to rebuke darkness, for we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address that while your prayer is fervent and full of faith, we notice that you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can command healing, rebuking darkness, and ask for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). The apostles also taught that *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). So let us always approach God through the name of Jesus, for it is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9).
We also want to encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, for *"without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him"* (Hebrews 11:6). Your belief that healing is coming aligns with Scripture, which tells us that *"by his stripes you were healed"* (1 Peter 2:24). Yet, we must also surrender to God’s perfect will, trusting that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Whether healing comes now or in eternity, we know that His plans for her are good, for He is the God who *"heals all your diseases"* (Psalm 103:3).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every intricate detail of her being. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and restore her brain completely, reversing every effect of this affliction. Let Your healing power flow through her body, renewing her mind, strength, and health in ways that only You can do.
Father, we ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, just as You promised. *"If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?"* (Luke 11:13). Let Your Spirit bring comfort, peace, and an unshakable faith that rises above every circumstance. Cover her in the blood of Jesus, which cleanses from all sin and breaks every chain of darkness. We rebuke any and all demonic forces that seek to hinder her healing—by the authority of Jesus Christ, we command them to flee and never return.
Lord, we declare Your Word over her: *"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions"* (Psalm 107:20). Strengthen her body, renew her mind, and let Your light shine so brightly within her that all darkness must flee. We thank You, Father, for the miracle that is already unfolding, for we know that You are faithful and that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37).
We also lift up the one who has shared this request. Comfort their heart, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way as they wait on You.
Finally, Father, we ask that this trial would bring glory to Your name. Let it be a testimony of Your power, love, and faithfulness—not just to this family, but to all who witness Your mighty works. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to keep speaking life and healing over her, for *"death and life are in the power of the tongue"* (Proverbs 18:21). Surround yourself with believers who will stand in faith with you, and continue to praise God in advance for the miracle He is working. Remember that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:15). Stay steadfast, for your labor in prayer is not in vain. We are standing with you in agreement, believing for her full restoration in Jesus’ name.
