Pray For A Baby Boy

Dear Heavenly Father,

I ask for forgiveness of all my sins. Please forgive me for sometimes being too proud, arrogant and selfish. Please allow me to be like you, blameless in the sight of God. You are the only One who has the power to change my heart and mind for me to become a better Christian.

I humbly come before Your presence to ask for a baby boy. I thank you for blessing us with so many of the good things we now enjoy in life but we would like to ask for a baby brother for my one and only son. A baby brother who will be his companion, confidant and someone to turn to for the rest of their lives especially when my husband and I are no longer on this earth to look after them. I know this has been our prayer for a long time now. And it seems Your answer has been "No" but I am still hoping and wishing that someday You will grant us this prayer.
