Pray also for my new job and future ###

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight".

We come before the Lord with hearts full of gratitude and hope as we lift up this request for a new job and a future marriage that honors God. First, we rejoice in the opportunity to seek the Lord’s will in both career and relationships, for it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

For this new job as a business analyst, we pray that the Lord would grant wisdom, discernment, and favor. May this work be a platform not just for professional growth, but for glorifying God in integrity, diligence, and excellence. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." We ask that the Lord would open doors of opportunity, provide mentors who reflect Christ-like leadership, and surround this individual with colleagues who encourage spiritual growth. May this job also be a testimony to others of God’s provision and faithfulness.

Now, regarding the desire for a future wife who will honor God, we must first affirm that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that the Lord would prepare this individual’s heart to be a godly husband, one who leads with humility, loves sacrificially, and seeks the Lord above all else. Proverbs 18:22 tells us, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh." But let us also remember that this "finding" is not merely about personal desire—it is about seeking a spouse who shares a deep commitment to Christ and His Word.

We must also address the importance of purity and intentionality in this pursuit. Courtship should be entered into with the sole purpose of discerning whether marriage is God’s will, not as a casual or self-serving relationship. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 warns, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." Any relationship outside of marriage that involves physical intimacy is fornication and is clearly forbidden in Scripture. We must guard our hearts and bodies, trusting that God’s timing and His choice of a spouse are perfect.

We also encourage this individual to be actively involved in a local church, where they can grow in their faith and meet like-minded believers. Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another." A godly spouse is often found within the community of believers, where accountability and shared values are prioritized.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this individual to You, asking that You would guide them in their new job. Grant them wisdom, favor, and a heart that seeks to honor You in all they do. May their work be a testimony of Your grace and provision.

Father, we also pray for their future marriage. Prepare their heart to be a godly spouse, one who loves You above all else. Lead them to a wife who shares their faith, who will walk alongside them in obedience to Your Word, and who will honor You in all things. Guard their heart from impatience, lust, or compromise, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. May their relationship be built on the foundation of Christ, reflecting Your love and truth.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of loneliness, fear, or worldly desire that would lead this individual away from Your will. Strengthen their faith, deepen their relationship with You, and fill them with hope as they wait on You. We declare that Your plans for them are good, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
