We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting up your request before the Lord with urgency and faith. The fiery darts of the enemy are real, and Scripture warns us in Ephesians 6:16, *"Above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one."* These attacks can come in many forms—doubt, fear, temptation, sickness, or strife—but we know that our God is greater, and He has already given us authority through Christ to resist and overcome.
We also remember 1 Peter 5:8-9, which says, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."* This is a call to vigilance, to stand firm in faith, and to resist the devil’s schemes. We must not give him a foothold through fear, unbelief, or unconfessed sin, but instead, we cling to the truth of God’s Word and the power of Jesus’ name.
We also want to remind you of the importance of putting on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This is not a passive act but an active stance of faith. When we are covered in prayer, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, the enemy’s darts cannot penetrate our defenses. We must also be diligent in prayer, not just for protection but for the exposure and defeat of the enemy’s plans.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are our protector, our shield, and our strong tower. Lord, we ask that You rebuke every fiery dart that the enemy has launched against our brother/sister, their mother, and their stepfather. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord Jesus, You have already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). We declare that victory over every scheme of the devil in their lives. We bind the spirit of fear, doubt, confusion, and every evil assignment sent to harm them. Let the blood of Jesus cover them and render these darts powerless.
Father, we ask that You expose every hidden plan of the enemy. Let Your light shine into every dark place and let Your truth prevail. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for divine protection over their home, their health, their minds, and their relationships. Let no division, sickness, or spiritual attack take root. Instead, let Your presence be their rear guard, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7). We declare that no harm will come near their dwelling, and no plague will come near their tent (Psalm 91:10).
Lord, we also ask that You would give them discernment to recognize the enemy’s tactics and wisdom to resist him. Help them to walk in obedience to Your Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit that cuts down the lies of the devil. Let them be rooted and grounded in Your love, unshaken by the storms of life.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We praise You for Your power, Your protection, and Your promise to never leave them nor forsake them. May they walk in the confidence of Your love and the assurance of Your presence every day.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, speaking the Word of God over your life and your family, and praying without ceasing. The enemy may attack, but he cannot prevail against those who are in Christ. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and stay in fellowship with believers who can stand with you in this fight. You are not alone—the Lord is with you, and so are we.
