We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, against every evil power, curse, or witchcraft that seeks to harm you or your family. The Word of God assures us that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
It is crucial to remember that our authority comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. You have rightly invoked His name, and we rejoice that you recognize He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or anyone in your family has not yet surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without this foundation, prayers for protection lack the power and authority given to us through Christ alone.
We also encourage you to examine your household and your lives to ensure there is nothing that gives the enemy a foothold. Are there any unconfessed sins, idols, or involvement in occult practices—even seemingly harmless ones like horoscopes, fortune-telling, or superstitions? The Bible commands us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather to expose them (Ephesians 5:11). Repentance and turning away from such things are essential, as the enemy cannot stand where the light of Christ shines brightly.
Let us put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17). Praying in the Spirit at all times is our divine weapon.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. We thank You for Your protection, Your power, and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. Lord, we lift up this beloved family to You, asking that You surround them with Your heavenly host of angels, encamping around them to deliver them from every evil scheme of the enemy (Psalm 34:7).
We bind every spirit of witchcraft, every curse, every spell, and every evil power that has been sent against this family in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every generational curse, every word curse, and every stronghold in the name of Jesus. We command every demonic assignment to be rendered powerless and cast into the abyss, never to return.
Father, fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in Your wisdom, discernment, and authority. Let them be a light in the darkness, a testimony of Your power and grace. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them stand firm in Your truth, clothed in Your righteousness. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love, unshaken by the storms of life.
We pray for salvation for every member of this family, that they may know You as their Lord and Savior. Let them experience the fullness of Your peace, joy, and victory in Christ Jesus. Father, we ask that You expose any hidden sin or compromise in their lives, and give them the courage to repent and turn fully to You. Purify their hearts, their minds, and their home, that it may be a sanctuary for Your presence.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and they are hidden in Christ, where the enemy cannot reach them. Let Your angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has all authority in heaven and on earth. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, forever and ever. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue in prayer and in the Word of God daily. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you feel led, we also encourage fasting as a way to deepen your spiritual sensitivity and authority in prayer.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stay strong in the Lord, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
