We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, and we are grateful you have come before Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. Your prayer reflects a deep love and concern, and we sense the urgency in your words. Let us first address the importance of praying in Jesus’ name, for Scripture tells us, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is by His name alone that we are saved, forgiven, and heard. *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We praise God that you have acknowledged this truth in your prayer.

Now, we notice that you have used placeholders rather than a specific name, and while we do not know the identity of the person you are praying for, we understand the depth of your intercession. Let us first pray together for this individual, trusting that the Lord knows their name and their heart even more intimately than we do.

**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved soul to Your care. Lord, You know their name, their struggles, and the desires of their heart even before they are spoken. We ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, shielding them from the snares of the evil one. *"The Lord will deliver him in times of trouble. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth; Do not give him up to the will of his enemies"* (Psalm 41:2-3, WEB). Father, if there is any sin in their life—known or unknown—we ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9, WEB). Teach them Your ways, O Lord, and guide their steps in righteousness. May their heart be turned wholly toward You, for You alone are the source of true love, peace, and protection.

We also sense in your words a deep, perhaps even overwhelming, love for this person—a love that feels "uncontrollable." While love is a beautiful gift from God, we must examine it through the lens of Scripture. The Bible teaches us that our greatest love must first be for the Lord our God: *"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment"* (Matthew 22:37-38, WEB). Human love, no matter how strong, must never take the place of our devotion to Christ. If this love is directed toward someone of the opposite sex, we encourage you to seek God’s will for a relationship that honors Him—one that is rooted in purity, self-control, and the goal of godly marriage. *"Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, WEB). If this love is directed in a way that conflicts with God’s design—for example, if it is outside of marriage or toward someone of the same sex—we must lovingly but firmly remind you that such relationships are not in alignment with Scripture. *"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom"* (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, WEB). Our love must always be submitted to God’s truth, and His design for relationships is clear: one man and one woman united in marriage, reflecting Christ’s love for His Church.

If this person is someone you are in a romantic relationship with, we urge you to examine whether this relationship is honoring to God. Are you both believers, committed to following Christ? Are you pursuing purity and waiting on the Lord’s timing for marriage? Or is there sin that needs to be repented of? *"Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?"* (Amos 3:3, WEB). A relationship that is not centered on Christ will ultimately lead to heartache and separation from God’s best. If this is a courtship, we pray that it would be one that seeks God’s will above all else, with marriage as the godly goal. If there is any sexual immorality, we strongly urge repentance and a turning away from sin, for *"the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body"* (1 Corinthians 6:13, WEB).

Lastly, we sense a fear in your prayer—a fear of the "evilness in the world" and a desire to shield this person from it. While it is right to pray for protection, we must remember that our ultimate trust is in the Lord, not in our own ability to control or protect. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Instead of being consumed by fear, let us commit this person to the Lord, trusting that He is sovereign over all things. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB).

Let us pray once more, this time with a focus on surrender and trust in God’s perfect will:

**Father, we surrender this person and this situation entirely to You. If there is anything in their life—or in the life of the one praying—that is not pleasing to You, we ask that You reveal it and bring conviction. Give them the strength to turn away from sin and to walk in obedience to Your Word. If this love is from You, Lord, let it be purified and directed according to Your will. If it is not, we ask that You redirect their heart toward what is holy and pleasing to You. Fill them both with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, self-control, and faith. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.**

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. If there is more to this situation that you would like to share—such as the nature of your relationship with this person—we are here to listen, pray, and provide biblical counsel. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in His truth.

We join you in lifting up this heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father, and we're grateful for your sincerity in coming before Him in the name of Jesus Christ. We sense the urgency and depth of your love for this person, and we want to assure you that God sees and knows their heart even more intimately than we do.

Let's continue to pray together, focusing on the specific needs you've mentioned:

"Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved soul to Your care. Lord, You know their name, their struggles, and the desires of their heart even before they are spoken. We ask that You would surround them with Your divine protection, shielding them from the snares of the evil one. Help them to stand firm in their faith, and guide their steps in righteousness. If there is any sin in their life - known or unknown - we ask that You would convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Teach them Your ways, O Lord, and guide their steps in righteousness. May their heart be turned wholly toward You, for You alone are the source of true love, peace, and protection.

We also want to encourage you, dear friend. We understand that love can be a powerful force, but it's crucial to ensure that our love aligns with God's will and His design for relationships. As we mentioned earlier, our greatest love must be for the Lord our God, and any human love must never take the place of our devotion to Christ. If this love is directed toward someone of the opposite sex, we encourage you to seek God's will for a relationship that honors Him - one that is rooted in purity, self-control, and the goal of godly marriage.

If this person is someone you're in a romantic relationship with, we urge you to examine whether this relationship is honoring to God. Are you both believers, committed to following Christ? Are you pursuing purity and waiting on the Lord's timing for marriage? Or is there sin that needs to be repented of? A relationship that is not centered on Christ will ultimately lead to heartache and separation from God's best.

Lastly, we sense a fear in your prayer - a fear of the 'evilness in the world' and a desire to shield this person from it. While it's right to pray for protection, we must remember that our ultimate trust is in the Lord, not in our own ability to control or protect. Instead of being consumed by fear, let us commit this person to the Lord, trusting that He is sovereign over all things.

Let's pray once more, focusing on surrender and trust in God's perfect will:

"Father, we surrender this person and this situation entirely to You. We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word. If there's more to this situation that you'd like to share - such as the nature of your relationship with this person - we're here to listen, pray, and provide biblical counsel. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you walk in His truth.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
