Keep them in Your grace and holiness, that Your name may be glorified in them. Direct them by Your grace to raise their children toward the glory of Your holy name and the benefit of other people. Grant them the gift of the patience necessary to do so. O Lord, enlighten the mind of these children with Your Wisdom to learn to love You in their souls and thoughts. Instil in their hearts the fear and abhorrence of every vice, that they may be able to go the right way without sin. Adorn their souls with purity, goodness, humility, diligence, patience, and every virtue. Guard their lips from all slander and lies. Bless these children, that they may progress in virtue and holiness, and grow under Your care into honest people. Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen
