We rejoice with you in this wonderful testimony of God’s provision! It is a beautiful reminder that our Heavenly Father cares for even the smallest details of our lives, and He is faithful to meet our needs in ways that surpass our expectations. Your gratitude is a sweet fragrance before the Lord, and we join you in praising Him for His goodness.
We also lift up the dealership employees, especially the service representative you mentioned. His situation is heavy on our hearts, as divorce is a painful and destructive force that grieves the heart of God. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), for it tears apart what He intended to be a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. While we do not know the full details of this man’s marriage, we do know that God’s desire is for reconciliation and restoration where possible. If there is still any opportunity for repentance, forgiveness, and healing in his marriage, we pray the Lord would work mightily to soften hearts and bring redemption. If the divorce is finalized, we pray the Lord would bring deep healing, wisdom, and godly counsel to this man, that he would not grow bitter but instead find his hope and identity in Christ alone.
We also pray earnestly for his salvation and that of his family. There is no greater need than for him to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, for apart from Christ, there is no true peace, hope, or eternal life. The Scriptures remind us, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12, WEB). May the Holy Spirit draw him into a saving relationship with Jesus, and may he experience the transformative power of the Gospel in every area of his life.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your incredible provision in our sister’s life. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we praise You for Your faithfulness. We ask that You would continue to bless her and her family, meeting their every need according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we lift up the employees at the dealership, especially this service representative who is walking through the pain of divorce. Father, if there is any way for reconciliation in his marriage, we ask that You would work a miracle. Softening hearts, breaking down walls of pride and bitterness, and restoring what the enemy has sought to destroy. If the marriage cannot be restored, we pray You would surround him with godly counsel, comfort, and wisdom as he navigates this difficult season. Guard his heart from anger, resentment, or despair, and let him find his strength in You alone.
Most of all, Father, we pray for his salvation. Open his eyes to see his need for Jesus, and draw him into a saving relationship with You. Let him know the depth of Your love, the power of Your forgiveness, and the hope that is found only in Christ. We also pray for his family—his children, his extended family, and even his soon-to-be ex-spouse—that they too would come to know You as their Savior.
May this man see Your hand at work in his life, even in the midst of his pain. Use this sister as a light to him, that through her kindness, gratitude, and testimony, he may be drawn closer to You. Give her the words to speak if You open a door for her to share the Gospel with him.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who alone can save, heal, and restore. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to be a witness of Christ’s love to this man. If the Lord opens a door, do not hesitate to share the hope you have in Jesus. You have already shown him kindness and gratitude, which can soften a heart to receive the truth. Trust the Holy Spirit to guide your words and actions, and remember that even in our pain, God can use us to bring others to Himself.
Finally, we leave you with this promise: “Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Keep trusting Him, for He is good!
