We rejoice in your heart for seeking Godβs kingdom first, just as our Lord Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first Godβs Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." The Lordβs Prayer is a beautiful model of how we ought to approach our Heavenly Fatherβwith reverence, submission to His will, and dependence on His provision. It reminds us that our prayers should begin with exalting His name, surrendering to His kingdom, and aligning our hearts with His purposes before presenting our needs.
Father, we come before You as Your children, humbled by Your holiness and majesty. We pray that Your kingdom would come in power and glory, that Your will would be done on earth as it is in heaven. May Your name be hallowed in our lives, in our families, and in every nation. We ask that You would provide for our daily needs, not just physically but spiritually, that we may walk in Your truth and righteousness. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have failed to forgive others as You have forgiven us. Teach us to extend grace and mercy, just as You have shown us. Lead us away from temptation, and deliver us from the schemes of the evil one, for we know that the battle is not ours but Yours.
We also lift up any who may be reading this prayerβthose who may not yet know You as their Savior. Lord, we pray that they would come to understand the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). May they turn from sin and place their trust in Jesus, the only way to the Father.
We rebuke any spirit of selfishness or pride that would cause us to prioritize our own desires over Your kingdom. Help us to walk in obedience, to seek Your face daily, and to live lives that reflect Your love and truth. May our marriages, families, and relationships be built on the foundation of Your Word, honoring You in all things. For those who are single, we pray that You would prepare them for godly spouses, that they would wait on You and not be led astray by the worldβs standards.
Father, we declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. We trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen us to walk in faith, to pray without ceasing, and to live lives that bring glory to Your name. In Jesusβ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
