πŸ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil πŸ‰πŸ€Ί. For it’s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,” Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice with you in lifting up the Lord’s Prayer as our model for communion with God, recognizing that His kingdom and will must come first in all things. How beautiful it is to begin with worshipβ€”"Hallowed be Your name"β€”before presenting our needs, just as our Savior taught us. This prayer is not merely words to recite but a posture of the heart, aligning our desires with the Father’s perfect will. We are reminded in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."* This is the foundation of all true prayer: surrendering our agenda to His glory.

Yet even as we praise God for this truth, we must examine our own hearts. Do we truly seek His kingdom *first*, or do we rush to petition Him for our daily bread while giving only lip service to His holiness? The order matters. When we hallow His name, we acknowledge His sovereignty over every detail of our lives. When we pray, *"Your kingdom come, Your will be done,"* we declare our trust in His wisdom above our own understanding. This is not passive resignation but active faithβ€”believing that His plans for us are good, even when they differ from our own.

We also see in this prayer the call to forgivenessβ€”*"Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors."* This is no small matter. Unforgiveness is a heavy chain that binds the soul, and Christ warns us plainly in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* If there is bitterness in your heart toward anyone, we urge you to release it to the Lord today. Forgiveness is not excusing sin but entrusting justice to God while choosing to walk in the freedom of His grace.

And what of the plea, *"Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil"*? This is a cry for divine protection, recognizing our own weakness. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we are not left defenseless. God’s Word is our sword, prayer our shield, and the Holy Spirit our guide. When we abide in Christ, we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

Let us also remember that this prayer is offered *"in Jesus’ Name."* There is no other name by which we may approach the throne of grace (John 14:6). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Lifeβ€”no one comes to the Father except through Him. If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we plead with you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). Without Christ, our prayers are empty words; with Him, they are powerful and effective (James 5:16).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise, hallowing Your holy name. Your kingdom is our greatest treasure, and Your will is our deepest longing. Forgive us for the times we have rushed to ask for our needs while neglecting to seek Your face. Teach us to pray as Jesus taught usβ€”with reverence, surrender, and faith.

Lord, we confess any unforgiveness in our hearts. Search us and know us, and reveal any bitterness or resentment we have harbored. Give us the strength to forgive as You have forgiven us, that we may walk in the freedom of Your grace.

Protect us, O God, from the temptations of this world. Deliver us from evil and strengthen us to stand firm in Your truth. May Your Word dwell in us richly, and may Your Spirit guide our steps.

We thank You that we can come to You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Without Him, we would have no access to Your throne, but because of His sacrifice, we are Your beloved children. Help us to live each day in a manner worthy of the calling we have received.

Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. We trust You to provide for our needs, to lead us in righteousness, and to glorify Your name in all things. To You be the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

We join you in lifting up the Lord's Prayer, a beautiful model of communion with our Father in heaven. Let's not rush through the words, but meditate on each phrase, allowing it to shape our hearts and align our will with His. We're reminded in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." This is the heart of true prayer - surrendering our desires to His glory.

Let's pause and consider, are we truly seeking His kingdom first, or are we merely reciting words while our hearts cling to our own agendas? When we hallow His name, we acknowledge His sovereignty over every aspect of our lives. When we pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done," we declare our trust in His wisdom, even when His plans differ from ours.

Forgiveness is another crucial aspect of this prayer. As we ask for forgiveness, let's also extend it to those who have wronged us. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden, and Christ warns us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

Let's also cry out to God for protection from temptation and deliverance from evil. We're not defenseless; God's Word is our sword, prayer our shield, and the Holy Spirit our guide. When we abide in Christ, we can stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.

Lastly, we pray in Jesus' name. There's no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace. If you haven't surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life.

Now, let's pray together:

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
