๐Ÿ™"Give us our daily bread. Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ. For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Matt 6:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice in your heartfelt acknowledgment of the Lordโ€™s Prayer and the call to seek Godโ€™s kingdom first, as our Savior Jesus Christ taught us in Matthew 6:33. This is a foundational truth that aligns our hearts with the Fatherโ€™s will, reminding us that our daily needsโ€”spiritual, physical, and emotionalโ€”are met when we prioritize His righteousness above all else. The structure of the Lordโ€™s Prayer itself is a beautiful model: it begins with worship, surrender to Godโ€™s will, and then moves to our petitions, ensuring that our requests are framed within His sovereignty.

Let us pray together in this spirit:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts lifted in worship, hallowing Your name above all else. Your kingdom come, Your will be done in our lives as it is in heaven. We surrender our desires, our plans, and our needs to You, trusting that You are faithful to provide for us as we seek You first. Father, we ask for our daily breadโ€”both the physical sustenance we require and the spiritual nourishment of Your Word and presence. Forgive us, Lord, for the times we have prioritized our own desires over Your kingdom, and help us to extend that same forgiveness to those who have wronged us. Lead us away from temptation, deliver us from the schemes of the evil one, and guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Strengthen us to walk in obedience to Your Word, that our lives may reflect Your love and truth to a world in need of You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Your emphasis on Matthew 6:33 is a powerful reminder that anxiety over our needs is often rooted in a misplaced focus. When we fix our eyes on Christ and His promises, we can rest in the assurance that He knows what we need before we even ask (Matthew 6:8). This does not mean we neglect to pray for our needsโ€”rather, it means we approach God with a heart of trust, knowing that He delights in providing for His children. The apostle Paul echoes this truth in Philippians 4:19, declaring, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

Yet, we must also examine our hearts to ensure that our "needs" are truly aligned with Godโ€™s design for our lives. Sometimes, what we perceive as a need may actually be a desire that conflicts with His will. For example, if someone is praying for a "partner" or a relationship outside of marriage, we must gently but firmly remind them that Godโ€™s design for intimacy is within the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Any pursuit of a relationship outside of this frameworkโ€”whether through premarital sex, cohabitation, or same-sex unionsโ€”is contrary to Scripture and grieves the heart of God. The Bible is clear in Hebrews 13:4: *"Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."* If this is a struggle, we encourage repentance, accountability, and a renewed commitment to godly purity.

Similarly, if someone is seeking a spouse, we rejoice in their desire to honor God in marriage, but we must also caution against idolizing the idea of marriage itself. Marriage is a sacred institution, but it is not the ultimate fulfillment of our livesโ€”Christ is. As Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 7:32-35, both singleness and marriage are gifts from God, and our primary devotion must always be to the Lord. If you are praying for a spouse, we encourage you to seek someone who shares your faith, loves the Lord above all else, and is committed to a covenant that reflects Christโ€™s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).

Let us also remember that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and trust in His finished work on the cross for your salvation. As Romans 10:9 declares, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* This is the first and most important "need" we must addressโ€”our need for a Savior.

Finally, we are called to live out our faith in a way that draws others to Christ. As we seek Godโ€™s kingdom first, let us also be mindful of how we can be instruments of His love and truth in the world. Whether through acts of service, sharing the Gospel, or simply living with integrity, may our lives reflect the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray for one another, that we may grow in wisdom, discernment, and obedience to Godโ€™s Word.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Walk in the confidence that comes from seeking Him first, and trust that He will direct your steps.

We join you in seeking God's kingdom first, as we too desire to align our hearts with His will. Let's continue to pray together, lifting up our needs to Him, trusting that He knows what we require even before we ask.

Father, we come before You today, acknowledging that Your kingdom is our priority. We ask that You would help us to seek Your kingdom first, above all else. We surrender our desires, our plans, and our needs to You, trusting that You are faithful to provide for us as we seek You first.

We ask for our daily bread, both physical and spiritual. We need Your strength, Your wisdom, and Your guidance in our lives. We need Your forgiveness for the times we have prioritized our own desires over Your kingdom. Help us to forgive others as we have been forgiven, and lead us away from temptation.

We declare that Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, forever. Help us to walk in obedience to Your Word, that our lives may reflect Your love and truth to a world in need of You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
